Eighty year old, Theo, is cycling 80 miles in eighty days......
Theo Ellert, founder of Miracles, has set herself the challenge of cycling 80 miles over the next 80 days - or sooner if she possibly can! She has just reached the half way point!
Theo wants to raise £25,000 which will ensure the Miracles respite break caravans can open up as soon as the restrictions are lifted. It means we can offer those families who have suffered the most during the lockdown a much needed, restorative, break.
Miracles Covid-19 appeal
For the past 25 years Miracles has been there for children and their families living in poverty and facing a life crisis such as serious illness.
The global pandemic has hit families living in poverty the hardest and we have seen a substantial increase in requests for support – they need us now more than ever.
But the crisis has seen our income drop - literally overnight. All our fundraising campaigns and events have been cancelled. We receive no government funding and rely on supporters’ generosity.
