We are the controller of the personal data that we gather. The terms we, our or us means Miracles Registered Charity Number 1041449 (thereafter Miracles), registered with The Information Commissioner.

The personal data we collect varies depending on your involvement with us. You may be a recipient of Miracles financial aid, a supporter of Miracles, or a guest at a Miracles function. The information that can identify you that we collect includes but is not limited to your name, address, e-mail, telephone number, age, contact preferences, photo, CCTV image, vehicle registration number.

We use only data gathered in accordance with this privacy policy.

Personal information is collected directly from you and via web pages and web applications.

We will always use your data in a lawful way, for the purpose for which it was intended and because it is a necessity for us to provide to the product or service required or because you have consented to Miracles use of your data as a legitimate interest.

To fulfil our contractual arrangements with you.

When using the Miracles website you may use third party cookies through third party applications like Google. How long we keep your personal information?

We do not keep your data for any longer than is necessary to facilitate the reason it was first given. Your data will be kept for the following periods, or for the following reasons:

To allow us to fulfil our obligation for deliver the product or service you have requested from us.

 

We will delete your data if you request we do so.

If you are a holiday guest we will remove your data 3 years after your last booking if no further communication has been made.

We are committed to taking all reasonable steps to protect the personal information that we hold from misuse, loss or unauthorised access.  We achieve this by having in place a range of appropriate cyber, procedural practices & security measures to protect against unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse of your personal data.

Miracles will only share information with third parties where we have a legal obligation or to complete work on our behalf.

We instruct third parties to act on our behalf, these include payment processing, service and product delivery and account access. Miracles takes all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is handled safely and securely and we only share data to enable agents acting on behalf of Miracles to deliver the full service or product offered.

Miracles will not sell, trade, let or lend personal information to others.

In certain circumstances we may be required to provide personal data to a third party so that they provide a specific service to you. In such circumstance personal information will only be provided with your express consent.

When making a booking, when you give us information about another person you confirm that they have appointed you to act for them, to consent to the processing of their personal data, including sensitive personal data.

The information contained in any correspondence with us along with your email address and other details will only be used by Miracles in order to respond to your particular enquiry. It will not be given to any third party that is not associated with Miracles and its businesses without contacting you in advance. Your details may be retained on file and used to contact you in the future with information that is relevant to Miracles events.

Miracles will not send information overseas.

 

Giving you control
